DKC closing Stores

In its May 5th earnings call, CEO Nico Barton and Princess Campbell noted that it closed three stores since the beginning of the year and expects to close a total of 5 to 10 stores by the end of the year.

The fashion retailer announced that it will close the majority of under performing stores in the U.S. and sell its business as part of a restructuring plan. The total of DKC stores to be shut down is numbered at 17, but  DKC has not released the specific location of those stores.

With the tightening of consumer credit, and the loss of wages and personal wealth in the U.S., DKC has noticed that consumers began spending more consciously and making choices to purchase only what they really need, and not what they really want. NB
